the foot stuff
Sue Turner, D.P.M. - I am a podiatrist (foot doctor) in Vancouver,
British Columbia. Since 1991 I have had the privilege of treating
people and their foot problems - I've seen over 14,000 pair. Of
course, no 2 are alike. I used to think it was a fluke, but now
I think I attract certain types of people and their foot problems.
Though I enjoy every challenge that comes my way, I do have a
keen interest in attempting to solve what appear to be unsolvable
problems for people ... I also prefer to know the people attached
to the feet, whenever possible.

the music stuff
Sue Turner, roots-blues musician and singer-songwriter - I can't
remember (for my first 38 years) ever considering the option of
pursuing a creative passion. I kept myself very busy pursuing
career, various relationships and the ever elusive "financial
security". I think I got bored with the status quo of my
own life. Quoting myself, (if I may) "I ask myself the
question, why am I not free yet ... must be my need for perfection
and I say to hell with that ... I'd rather be free than perfect
any day." Pursuing music is my way of fighting for my
own freedom - freedom to follow my passion and to be genuinely
and unabashedly myself every possible moment.
